I found clarity by removing the layers of noise
You know that feeling when you plan to have a productive day, but three hours later, you’re still scrolling through Instagram Reels? Yeah, I’ve been there and it was frustrating and beating up on myself. Yes, I caught myself doing just that, and it hit me — I was sabotaging my goal of staying present.
My goal for 2024 has been to stay present, focus on the moment, and avoid spending too much time in my head. I wanted to consistently be conscious of everything I did — whether it was working, cooking, riding, or spending time with family and friends.
But I failed.
I began this journey with affirmations, constantly reminding myself, “My mind is always in the present moment,” and “I am focused and conscious always.”
